regarding the Advertisement
1.
(Ref.No.F.1/205/2009-R-II)Two Quarantine Officers in Animal Quarantine
Certification Services under Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying &
Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture. Qualifications:
Essential: A. Educational:
i) A recognised Veterinary Degree qualification included in the first or
second schedule to the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.
ii) Post-Graduate/Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science in Bacteriology
or Medicine or Pathology or Parasitology or Virology of a recognized University
or equivalent. B. Experience : Three
years’ laboratory experience in animal diseases, investigation and their
control. Duties :
To implement provision of the Livestock(Import)Quarantine rules.
ii) To examine the livestock imported into India from other countries,
keep and observe the livestock in quarantine and later release the animals.
HQ : Any field office of
Animal Quarantine & Certification Services(Delhi/Mumbai/Kolkata/Chennai/Banglore/Hydrabad)
with liability to serve anywhere in India.

(Ref.No.F.1/194/2009-R-IV)One Curator at National Defence Academy,
Khadakwasla, Ministry of Defence, HQ Integrated Defence Staff, Directorate
of Personnel. The post is suitable for Physically Handicapped [Orthopaedically
Handicapped/Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy(One Arm Affected)] candidates.
Qualifications : Essential :
A. Educational : i) Degree in Archaeology or History of a recognized
University. B. Experience :
i) About two years’ practical experience in a museum. ii) Knowledge of
museum technique and experience of popularizing museum service.
Desirable : Diploma in Museology. Duties :
Overall planning, supervision and maintenance of the NDA Museum.
General layout of the Galleries and display of exhibits. Safe custody and
security of the exhibits and Museum stores. Planning of expenditure of annual Museum grant.
Administration, control, welfare and discipline of Museum staff.
Receive and conduct of VVIP’s in the Museum.
Liaison with various outside agencies in connection with procurement of
Museum exhibits. Any other duties
relating to the Museum, assigned by the commandant. HQ : NDA,
Khadakwasla.

(Ref.No.F.1/206/2009-R-II) One Chemist in Indian Bureau of Mines,
Ministry of Mines. The post is
reserved for OBC candidates. Qualifications:
Essential : A. Educational : Master’s
degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or Institution or equivalent. B. Experience : Three
years’ experience in chemical analysis of different ores and Minerals.
Desirable : i) Doctorate in
Chemistry from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. Ii) Experience
in Instrumental analysis of Ores and Minerals. Duties
: To carry out chemical analysis of
Ores and minerals by conventional as well as by instrumental technique.
Supervise the work of ores, minerals, ore dressing products and environmental
samples carry out by the Assistant Chemist and other junior staff.
Undertake the maintenance and repairing work of the instruments in the
Chemical Laboratory. Co-ordination
and standardization of instruments / equipment using suitable methods. Such other duties as may be assigned by the Controller
General, IBM or any other officer on his behalf.

(Ref. No.F.1/199/2009-R-VI)Four Assistant Ore Dressing Officers in Indian
Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines. Out of four posts, one post is reserved
for OBC candidates. Qualifications
: Essential :
A. Educational : Degree in Mining Engineering or Chemical Engineering or
Chemical Technology or Metallurgy from a recognized University or Institution or
its equivalent OR Master’s degree in Geology or Ore Dressing or Chemistry or
Physics from a recognized University or Institution or its equivalent and B.
Experience : Three years’
experience in well equipped laboratory or Pilot Plant conducting Ore Dressing or
Mineral beneficiation or Mineral agglomeration work.
Desirable : i) Post-graduate
degree in the Engineering subject concerned or Doctorate Degree in Geology Ore
Dressing or Physics or Chemistry from a recognized University. ii) Working
knowledge of computer with special emphasis on commonly used software in office.
Duties : To carry out
various experiments on beneficiation of low grade ores and minerals both on
laboratory and pilot plant scale. To
carry out chemical and physical operations in connection with the development of
suitable process involving the usage of mineral raw materials required in
various industries devising techniques for various mineral production. Any other duties assigned by the Controller General, IBM or
any other officer authorized by him.

NATURE OF POST
: All posts belong to
General Central Service except otherwise mentioned.
a) Posts at S. Nos.2,3,4 are permanent.
b) Posts at S. No.1 is temporary.
3. PAY SCALE & CLASSIFICATION : (Figures in bracket at the end of the pay scale indicate the approx total emoluments(per month) excluding CCA and HRA at the minimum of the scale).
a) Rs.15600-39100+Rs.5400(Grade

Group ‘A’ Gazetted for
the posts at S.Nos. 1,3 & 4 above
b) Rs.9300-34800+Rs.4200(Grade pay) (T.E. Rs.16470)Group
‘B’ Gazetted for the post at
S.No. 2 above.
4. AGE LIMIT AS ON NORMAL CLOSING DATE :
a) Not exceeding 38 years for the post at S. No.3
b) Not exceeding 35 years for the posts at S. Nos.1,2 & 4
N.B. The age limit shown against S. No.3 is relaxed normal age limit for OBC candidates. The age limit shown against all other S.Nos is normal age limit and only in these cases age is relaxable for OBC candidates upto 3 years in respect of vacancies reserved for them. AGE IS ALSO RELAXABLE FOR CENTRAL/UT GOVT SERVANTS UPTO FIVE YEARS AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS ISSUED BY GOVT OF INDIA FROM TIME TO TIME. NOTE : Candidates with disabilities[ as indicated against Item(s)] can apply to the respective posts even if the post is not reserved for them. However, such candidates will be considered for selection to such post by general standard of merit. Persons suffering from not less than 40% of relevant disability shall alone be eligible for the benefit of reservation and other relaxations as permissible under the rules
