Notes regarding the Advertisement
1.(Ref.No.F.1/194/2008-R-IV)
Thirteen Ordnance Officers, Civilian (Stores) in Army Ordnance Corps,
Directorate General of Ordnance Services, Integrated Headquarter (Army),
Ministry of Defence. Out
of the thirteen posts, two posts are reserved for SC candidates, one post
is reserved for ST candidates and two posts are reserved for OBC candidates.
Of the thirteen posts, one post is reserved for Physically Handicapped [Orthopaedically
Handicapped / Cerebral palsy (one leg affected / one arm affected)] candidates
of any Community. The posts are
also suitable for Physically Handicapped [Orthopaedically Handicapped/Cerebral
palsy (one leg affected/one arm affected)] candidates.
Qualifications : Essential :
Educational : i) Degree of a
recognized University or equivalent. ii)
Diploma in Material Management or equivalent of
at least one year duration from a recognized University/Institution.
Desirable : i) Diploma in computer Programming ; and
ii) two years’ experience in Accountancy/Material Management/Inventroy
Control. DUTIES :
Ensure implementation of the instructions/guidelines for correct
accounting and issue of stores as per DG OS technical instructions.
Maintaining efficient system of ordnance supplies to the users.
Efficient running of establishment from the point of view of its
functional role. For efficient
functioning of groups & branches, necessary arrangements
for proper storage stocking, care preservations and to ensure maintenance
of proper Management Information System.

One Director, Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory, Chandigarh,
under Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health &
Family Welfare. Qualifications :
Essential : A. Educational :
Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/Pharmaceutical
Chemistry/Pharmacy/Pharmacology from a recognized University or equivalent.
B. Experience : Twelve years’ experience
in testing of Drugs and Coordinating the activities of different branches of
Drugs Testing Laboratory. DUTIES
: To hold the administrative
charge of the Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory, Chandigarh and to be directly
responsible to the Directorate General of Health Services for efficient
management of the unit. To
attend to the administrative functions of the Laboratory and exercising general
supervision and control over the work carried out in the different branches of
the Laboratory. To be responsible
for the implementation of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rules thereunder in the process of testing
of drug samples and for the maintenance and upkeep of the Laboratory strictly
according to the conditions prescribed thereunder To conduct and guide scientific research and technical
developments, if any specially entrusted to the laboratory etc.
HQ : Regional Drugs Testing
Laboratory, Chandigarh or liable to serve anywhere in India.
3.(Ref.No.F.1/210/2008-R-I)
Three Assistant Professors(Cardiology), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,
Specialist Grade – II of Central Health Service(Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre).
Out of the three posts, one post each is reserved for SC, ST & OBC
candidates. Qualifications : Essential : A.
Educational : i)
A
recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule
or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than Licentiate Qualifications)
to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders
of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should
also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section(3) of Section 13 of the IMC
Act, 1956 ii)
Post-Graduate Degree qualification in the concerned Super-Speciality i.e.
D.M.(Cardiology) or equivalent. B.
Experience : Three
years’ teaching experience as Tutor/Demonstrator/Registrar/Senior Resident in
the concerned Super-Speciality in a recognised teaching Institution after
obtaining the first Post-graduate degree. NOTE
: I: The Medical qualifications
possessed by the candidates should have
the recognition of the Medical Council of India.
NOTE : II : In so far as
post-graduate medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are
concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time. NOTE : III
: Teaching experience in any other
post like the posts of General Duty Medical Officer/Medical Officer shall not be
considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to the teaching posts.
NOTE :
IV : In the case of qualification in Super-Specialities (M.Ch/D.M)
except in the case of holders of D.M./M.Ch of five years duration, the holders
should have obtained M.D.(General Medicine) or M.S.(General Surgery) or an
equivalent qualification as prescribed by the said council in its
recommendations on post-graduate medical examination. NOTE
: V : In
the case of holders of D.M./M.Ch qualification of five years duration,
the period of senior post-graduate residency rendered in the last part of the
said D.M./M.Ch shall be counted towards requirement of experience. DUTIES:
To impart theoretical and practical instructions to under graduate/post
graduate medical students. To
conduct and guide research work in the speciality.
To render patient care in
the speciality. Any other duties
that may be assigned by the authorities from time to time. ANY OTHER
CONDITIONS : (A) Private practice
of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed including any consultation and
laboratory practice. (B)
The candidate selected will, if so required, be liable to serve in any
Defence Service, or post connected with the Defence of India, for a period of
not less than four years including the period spent on training, if any,
provided that : i) He/She will not
be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of 10 years from the date of
appointment or from the date of joining the service.
ii) He/She will not
ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid after attaining the age of 45
years.
4.(Ref.No.F.1/192/2008-R-I) Seven Dental Surgeons in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Out of the seven posts, three posts are reserved for OBC candidates. Qualifications : Essential : Educational : i) A qualification included in Part I or Part –II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948(16 of 1948) and ii) Should be registered with a Dental Council. DUTIES : Medical attendance with treatment of Central Government employees, members of their families, Central Govt. pensioners and other beneficiaries covered by Central Government Health Scheme. Looks after OPD and indoor patients. Any other duty that may be assigned to them from time to time. ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : Same as in Item No.3 above.
5.(Ref.No.F.1/204/2008-R-VI)
Five Research Officers(Civil Engineering) in Central Water & Power Research
Station, Pune, Ministry of Water Resources.
Out of five posts, two posts are reserved for ST candidates and one post
is reserved for OBC candidates. The posts are also suitable for Physically
Handicapped persons with disability of Partial Deaf or Orthopaedically
Handicapped[ one arm affected(OA) or one leg affected(OL)].
Qualifications : Essential : Educational
: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or
equivalent. Desirable : i)
Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or
equivalent. ii) Research experience
in the field of Civil Engineering. DUTIES
: To carry out research in Civil
Engineering applied to projects in the disciplines of Hydraulics/Coastal and
Harbour Engineering / Hydrology / Geo- technical/Structural Engineering/Water
Resources Engineering using experimental, physical and mathematical modelling
techniques and desk studies, carry
out field studies for data collection. HQ

6.(Ref.No.F.1/209/2008-R-VI)
Two Research Officers (Engineering) in Central Soil and Materials Research
Station, Ministry of Water Resources.
Out of two posts, one post is permanent and other post is temporary.
Of them, one post (permanent) is reserved for OBC candidates.
The posts are also suitable for Orthopaedically Handicapped persons with
disability of one arm affected (OA) or one leg affected (OL) with suitable aids
if their mobility is not restricted.
Qualifications: Essential:
Educational: Bachelor’s
Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable : i) Post Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering from a
recognized University or equivalent. ii)
Research experience in the field of Civil Engineering.
DUTIES : Basic and applied
research in the field of Geo- technical Engineering, Concrete Technology etc.

One Professor(Civil Engineering)(Technical) in Delhi College of Engineering,
Department of Training and Technical Education, Govt. of
NCT of Delhi.
Qualifications :
Essential : Educational
: A. i) Ph. D Degree with 1st Class Degree at Bachelor’s or
Master’s level in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or
equivalent. ii) Ten years’ experience in Teaching/Industry/Research, out of
which five years’ must be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent. OR B.
Candidates from Industry/Profession with Master’s Degree in Civil
Engineering/Technology and professional work which is significant and can be
recognized as equivalent to Ph.D Degree and with ten years
Industrial/Professional experience, out of which at least five years should be
at senior level comparable to that of Assistant Professor, would also be
eligible. NOTE :
If a class/division is not awarded at B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech /
equivalent degree, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered
equivalent to first class/division. If
a grade point system is adopted, CGPA will be
converted to equivalent marks and minimum CGPA shall be 6.75 in the scale
of 10. DUTIES :
To perform all the academic activities including examination work in
Civil Engineering specially in the field related to Structural
Engineering/Environmental Engineering/Water Resources/Geo-technical.
To participate in R&D and research guidance, consultancy/testing
services, promotion of industry-institution-society interaction,
Curriculum/Resource Material/Laboratory Development & expansion,
Co-curricular & Extra curricular Activities, Academic and Administrative
Management, Policy Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation and Promotional
activities, Promotion of entrepreneurship and job creation, helping mobilization
of resources for the institution, Develop/update and maintain MIS, Plan and
implement staff Development activities. Any other relevant work assigned by the
Head of Institution. HQ : Delhi
College of Engineering, Bawana Road, Delhi/Any other place decided by the
competent authority.
9.(Ref.No.F.1/180/2008-R-V) One Assistant Professor (Computer Engineering) (Technical) in Delhi College of Engineering, Department of Training and Technical Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The post is also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with disabilities of Low Vision/One Arm affected/One Leg affected/Both Legs affected. . Qualifications : Essential : Educational : A. i) Ph.D Degree with 1st Class Degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Computer Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) 3 years’ experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent. OR B. i) First Class Degree at Master’s level in the Computer Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) 5 years’ experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent. Such candidates will be required to obtain Ph.D Degree within a period of seven years from the date of appointment as Assistant Professor. OR C. Candidates from Industry/Profession with first class Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent and professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D Degree and with five years’ Industrial/Professional experience would also be eligible. NOTE : I : If a class/division is not awarded at B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech / equivalent degree, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/division. 10.(Ref.No.F.1/206/2008-R-V) Three Lecturers(Electronics & Communication Engineering) in Government Polytechnics under Department of Training and Technical Education, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. Out of three posts, two posts are permanent and one post is temporary. Of them, one post (permanent) is reserved for SC candidates and remaining two posts(01-permanent, 01-temporary) are unreserved. Out of the three posts, one post(temporary) is reserved for Physically Handicapped persons with disability of Orthopaedically Handicapped/locomotive disability or cerebral palsy of any community. These posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with disability of Orthopaedically Handicapped /locomotive disability or cerebral palsy. Qualifications : Essential : Educational : First class Bachelor’s degree or equivalent CGPA in Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. NOTE : If a class/division is not awarded at B.E./B.Tech / equivalent degree, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/division. Desirable : i) knowledge of software packages in relevant disciplines, as supported by a certificates of minimum 3 months duration or one semester as indicated in the study scheme of the essential qualification which are used as a teaching tool as well.
