1. (Ref. No F.1/196/2007-R-III) ONE POST OF PROFESSOR (MATHEMATICS) IN NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, KHADAKWASLA, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : EDUCATIONAL : Ph.D Degree in Mathematics from a recognized University or equivalent with 10 years` teaching experience at Post- Graduate Degree level and / or Research/ Post- Graduate Research guidance experience. OR Ph.D Degree in Mathematics from a recognized University or equivalent with 15 years` Teaching/Research experience at Under-graduate level in the concerned subject. DESIRABLE: a) Proficiency in English Language as it is the medium of instruction at the NDA. (b) Experience in handling of Audio-Visual Teaching Aids/Computers. DUTIES: In addition of his primary duty of teaching, a professor would act as Head of Department. He/She would be responsible for ensuring proper coverage of the syllabus, conduct of examination, method of instructions and detailment of officers for various duties. He/She will be the sole custodian of the departmental infrastructure. He/She will exercise disciplinary control over the staff and initiate Annual Confidential Reports of the staff in the department. 2. (Ref. No. F.1/150/2007-R-VI) ONE POST OF ASSISTANT TECHNICAL ENGINEER OFFICER (RADIOLOGY) NOW RE-DESIGNATED AS ASSISTANT TECHNICAL ENGINEER OFFICER ( BIO-MEDICAL ) IN THE DGAFMS. MINISTRY OF DEFENCE. CIVILIAN IN DEFENCE SERVICES. The post is also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with disability of PD (Partial Deaf) and OL (One leg affected). QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : Degree in Electronics Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Three years’ practical experience, including one year in a supervisory capacity, in the repair and servicing of X-ray and Electro Medical electronic equipments. DUTIES: Responsibility for Assistant Technical Engineer Officer (Bio-Medical) is to inspect and maintain electro medical equipments under hospital command. He/She will also conduct and participate in practical training and demonstration of X-ray and other costly medical equipments to medical and paramedical personnel detailed for training. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: EDUCATIONAL: First class Bachelor`s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: EDUCATIONAL: First class Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology. OR First Class Master`s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology. DUTIES: He/She will be required to conduct classes, develop curriculum, prepare learning resource material, student guidance and counselling and assist students in Laboratory work. 5. (Ref. No. F.1/68/2008-R-III) ONE POST OF LECTURER (PHYSICS) IN THE NAVAL ACADEMY, EZHIMALA, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE. The post is reserved for Other Backward Classes Candidates. The post is also suitable for Orthopaedically Handicapped persons with one leg affected. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: EDUCATIONAL: Good academic record with first class at M.Sc. level. OR Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent Central Graded Point Average at the Master`s degree level in the relevant subject from an University, or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the University Grant Commission, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research or similar test accredited by the University Grant Commission, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research or similar test accredited by the University Grant Commission. 6. (Ref. No.F.1/94/2006-R-IV) SIX POSTS OF SUB-REGIONAL EMPLOYMENT OFFICER. MINISTRY OF LABOUR & EMPLOYMENT, DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF EMPLOYMENT & TRAININING. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: A.EDUCATIONAL: Master`s degree in Social Welfare or Labour Welfare or Social work or Sociology or Economics or Statistics or Psychology or Commerce or Education of a recognized University or equivalent. B.EXPERIENCE: Three years` experience in matters pertaining to Employment Exchange Policy and Procedure or Collection of Employment Market Information or Vocational Guidance, Employment Counselling and Placement of Personnel or Collection, Analysis and Interpretation of Socio-Economic Data. DESIRABLE: Knowledge of Local Language i.e. Punjabi, Gujarati, Bangla, Assamese, Manipuri, Malyalam, Hindi and English. DUTIES: Sub-Regional Employment Officer being the Head of the Office/DDO is to supervise and co-ordinate all the activities to be performed at the Centres i.e. the control of staff, maintenance of disciplinary and administrative functions, accounts and cash work in addition to maintain effective co-ordination with DGE&T (Hqr) employers and other Institutions/ Organizations, etc. He is to bestow sufficient attention to perform Educational & Vocational Guidance & Employment Counseling activities to enhance the employment opportunitics of educated SC/ST candidates.

7. (Ref. No. F.1/3/2008-R-I) ONE POST OF DEPUTY DRUGS CONTROLLER (INDIA)- NEW DRUGS IN CENTRAL DRUGS STANDARDIZATION CONTROL ORGANIZATION ( CDSCO) UNDER THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF HEALTH SERVICES. MINISTRY OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: EDUCATIONAL: i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part - II of the Third Schedule(other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part –II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956 ii) Post-Graduate Degree in Pharmacology of a recognized university or equivalent. B. Experience : 8 years’ experience in the planning of clinical trials including drawing up of protocols of the trials and designing of suitable proforma or in the screening of pre-clinical data and examination of clinical information on `New Drugs`. DESIRABLE: Experience of administration of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 the rules there under and/or of manufacture and testing of drugs and knowledge of procedures for approval of New Drugs and/or drawing up of standards of drugs. DUTIES: Screening of pre-Clinical and clinical data of new drugs molecules from the angle of safety and efficacy, examination of clinical trial protocols in India, liaise with agencies like ICMR, Central Drugs Laboratory, CIPL, examination of packaging insert of promotional materials and monitoring of adverse reactions to drugs.

8. (Ref. No. F.1/238/2007-R-I) ONE POST OF SPECIALIST GR.II (JR. SCALE) (ENT) IN THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE. CENTRAL HEALTH SERVICE( NON-TEACHING SPECIALIST SUB-CADRE). The post is reserved for OBC candidates. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL:A. EDUCATIONAL: i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part - II of the Third Schedule(other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part –II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956 ii) Post-graduate Degree qualification in the concerned speciality i.e. M.S. (Oto-Rhino Laryngology), Speciality Board of Laryngology (USA), DIO / DORL or equivalent. B. Experience : Three years’ experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining post graduate degree qualification of five years` experience in the speciality after obtaining post graduate diploma. NOTE : I : The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the MCI. NOTE : II : In so far as post - graduate medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time. NOTE : III : Holders of speciality Board of USA qualifications should complete the entire requirements of the Board concerned. DUTIES: To conduct and guide research work in the speciality. To render patient care in the speciality. Any other duties may be assigned by the authorities from time to time. HEADQUARTERS: CGHS, Patna and Kolkata but liable to serve anywhere in India. ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : A) Private practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice. B) The candidate selected will, if so required, be liable to serve in any Defence Service or post connected with the Defence of India, for a period of not less than four years including the period spent on training, if any, provided that ; i) he/she will not be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of ten years from the date of appointment or from the date of joining the service. ii) he/she will not ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid after attaining the age of 45 years.

9. (Ref. No. F.1/37/2008-R-I) ONE POST OF MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON AT SAFDARJUNG HOSPITAL. MINISTRY OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL:A. EDUCATIONAL: i) A qualification included in Part-I or Part-II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). (ii) Post graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. M.D.S. in Oral Surgery/Prosthedentics of a recognized University or equivalent. (iii) Should be registered with a Dental Council. B. Experience : Seven years’ experience in dental work in a hospital which should include a minimum of 3 years` experience in a Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery Unit after Post-graduation. DUTIES: Does all the routine operations & emergency operations pertaining to the field of Maxillofacial Surgery. Looks after OPD and indoor patients. Teaches and guides M.Ch. (Plastic Surgery) students in the field of Maxillofacial Surgery. Teaches MBBS students and Nurses students. Guides dental mechanics in making the “Maxillofacial Prosthesis”. HEADQUARTERS: New Delhi. ANY OTHER CONDITIONS: Private practice of any kind whatsoever is prohibited.

10. (Ref. No. F.1/221/2007-R-I) FOUR POSTS OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (PREVENTIVE AND SOCIAL MEDICINE) IN THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE.SPECIALIST GRADE –II OF CENTRAL HEALTH SERVICE IN THE TEACHING SPECIALIST SUB-CADRE. Out of four posts, two posts are reserved for OBC candidates. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL:A. EDUCATIONAL: i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part - II of the Third Schedule(other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part –II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956.. ii) Post-graduate Degree qualification in the concerned speciality i.e. M.D. ( Social & Preventive Medicine), MD (Community Medicine), Speciality Board of Social and Preventive Medicine (USA) or equivalent. B. Experience : Three years’ teaching experience as Lecturer/Tutor/Demonstrator/Registrar/Sr. Resident in the concerned speciality after the first Post-graduate degree qualification. NOTE : I : The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the MCI. NOTE: II : In so far as post - graduate medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time. NOTE : III : Teaching experience in any other post like the post of General Duty Medical Officer/Medical Officer shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to the teaching posts. NOTE: IV: Holders of Speciality Board of USA qualification should complete the entire requirements of the Board concerned. DUTIES: To impart theoretical and practical instructions to under graduate/post graduate medical students. To conduct and guide research work in the speciality. To render patient care in the speciality. Any other duties may be assigned by the authorities from time to time. ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : A) Private practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice. 11. (Ref.No. F.1/59/2008-R-II) ONE POST OF SENIOR SCIENTIFIC OFFICER (CHEMISTRY), GR. II IN CENTRAL FORENSIC SCIENCE LABORATORY (CFSL) UNDER DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE. MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS. The post is reserved for SC candidates. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL:A. EDUCATIONAL: Master`s Degree in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Three years’ experience of analytical methods and research therein in the relevant field. DESIRABLE: Experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory. DUTIES: To assist the Assistant Director/Dy. Director in the examination of crime exhibits in the concerned divisions and to depose expert evidence in the courts of law as and when required. To conduct Research and Development and to keep liaison with other Research and Development Organizations. Any Scientific work pertaining to the Laboratory assigned by the Director/Deputy Director/Asstt. Director from time to time in day to day functioning of the laboratory. HEADQUARTERS: Kolkata/Chandigarh/Hyderabad with all India service liability.

12. (Ref. No. F.1/288/2006-R-IV) ONE POST OF CHIEF EDITOR IN INDIAN BUREAU OF MINES, MINISTRY OF MINES. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL:A. EDUCATIONAL: Master`s degree from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Ten years’ experience in supervisory capacity in publication. DESIRABLE: Degree/Diploma in journalism from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. Experience in documentation of scientific and technical literature. Knowledge of working of printing press and modern reprographic methods. DUTIES: The Chief Editor is the Head of the Publication and printing unit of Indian Bureau of Mines and will be responsible for planning, co-ordination and guiding of all aspects of publication work, namely maintenance of Printing and Publication machinery, editing, printing, distribution and sales for departmental technical publications.

13. (Ref. No. F.1/46/2008-R-IV) ONE POST OF SENIOR RESEARCH ASSISTANT (ECONOMICS) NOW RE-DESIGNATED AS ECONOMIC OFFICER IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION. The post is unreserved but to be filled in among Physically Handicapped (Orthopaedically Handicapped/ Locomotor disability or cerebral palsy) persons. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL:A. EDUCATIONAL: Master`s degree in Economics of a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Two years’ research experience relating to `essential qualification` i.e. Economics. DUTIES: Collection, compilation and analysis of data relating to various aspects of the working and management of public enterprises. Preparation of reports and drafts of important aspects of their working like Project Studies, Management Policies etc. HEADQUARTERS: New Delhi but liable to serve anywhere in India.

14. (Ref.No.F.1/74/2008-R-IV) THREE POSTS OF PROGRAMMER, GOVT. OF NCT.OF DELHI, DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY. Of the three posts one post is reserved for OBC Candidates. The posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped (Orthopaedically Handicapped) candidates. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : A (i) Master`s degree in Computer Application/Computer Science or M.Tech (with specilization in Computer Application) or B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engg./Computer Science/Computer Technology of a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Four years` expereience of Electronic Data Processing work including experience of actual programming. OR B.(i) Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science or Degree in Electronics/Electronics and Communication Engineering. from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Five years` experience in Electronic Data Processing, out of which, atleast two years` experience should be in actual programming OR C (i) Master`s degree of a recognized University or equivalent or Degree in Engineering. of a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Six years` experience of Electronic Data Processing, out of which, atleast three years` experience should be in actual programming. D. DUTIES: Programmer is responsible to design application programmes to meet user requirements that optimize the use of available resources and documentation of the software/module to be developed. He implements and maintain database systems to optimize data access and security. The Computer programmer is also responsible for providing technical support/assistance to those who use the computer programs developed. It is expected that computer programmer is also well versed with latest technology in the field of Networking & Communication, Data Centre, Web Development etc. HEADQUARTERS: Liable to serve anywhere in Delhi.
