No.F.1/164/2007-R-I) TWENTY-SEVEN  CIVILIAN MEDICAL OFFICERS UNDER DIRECTORATE GENERAL  ARMED FORCES MEDICAL SERVICES, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE.  Out of twenty seven posts, four posts are reserved for SC, one post is reserved for ST and eight posts are reserved for OBC candidates.   Of the  twenty-seven posts, one post is reserved for Physical Handicapped (Orthopaedically Handicapped or Locomotor disability or cerebral palsy persons with OL or PA disability) person belonging to any community.  These posts are also suitable for Physical Handicapped  (Orthopaedically Handicapped or Locomotor disability or cerebral palsy persons with OL or PA disability) persons.    QUALIFICATIONS :  ESSENTIAL :  A. EDUCATIONAL :  i)    A recognized  medical  qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule(other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.  Holders of educational qualifications included in Part –II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956.  ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship.  DESIRABLE :   Post-graduate medical qualification in any discipline.  DUTIES :  Civilian Medical Officer is an adviser to the unit commander on health matters. His normal duties are :- To provide medical care and arrange for hospitalisation/specialist treatment, where necesary.  Inoculation and vaccination of entitled personnel.   To examine Non-Gazetted employees for fitness in respect of recruitment, etc.

No.F.1/167/2006-R-VI, No.F.1/201/2007-R-VI & No.F.1/265/2007-R-VI) FIVE SENIOR SCIENTIFIC OFFICERS, GRADE-II(ELECTRONICS) IN THE  DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF AERONAUTICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE.  Defence Aeronautical Quality Assurance Service.  Out of five posts, two posts are reserved for OBC candidates.    QUALIFICATIONS :  ESSENTIAL :  A. EDUCATIONAL :  Degree in Electronics/Communication Engineering / Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.  OR  Master’s degree in Electronics or in Physics with Electronics as special subject.  B. Experience :  Two years’ practical experience in production, development or quality assurance in the field of Communication, Radar, Navigation Electronic Test equipment and Electronic Component.  DESIRABLE :  i) Certificate course in German or French or Russian.  ii) Second class in (i) above.  DUTIES :  Evaluation, Inspection and quality assurance of radar communication and navigational equipment, electronics test  equipment and component during development manufacture and overhaul.  ANY OTHER CONDITIONS :  Any member of service, shall, if so required, liable to serve as a commissioned officer in the Armed Forces for a period of not less than four years including the period spent on training, if any, Provided that such officer :- a) shall not be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of ten years from the date of appointment and  b) shall not ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid after attaining the age of forty years.

10.       (Ref. No.F.1/263/2006-R-I) THREE  ASSISTANT  PROFESSORS (CARDIOLOGY), MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE,  SPECIALIST GRADE-II OF CENTRAL HEALTH SERVICE (TEACHING SPECIALIST SUB-CADRE).  Out of the three posts, one post each is reserved for SC, ST & OBC candidates.    QUALIFICATIONS :  ESSENTIAL :   EDUCATIONAL : i) A recognized  medical  qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule(other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.  Holders of educational qualifications included in Part –II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956.  ii)  Post-Graduate Degree qualification in the concerned super-speciality i.e., D.M.(Cardiology) or equivalent.  B. EXPERIENCE  :  Three years’ teaching experience as Tutor/Demonstrator/Registrar/Sr. Resident in the concerned super-speciality in a recognized teaching Institution after the first Post-graduate Degree.  NOTE : I :  The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the MCI.     NOTE  :  II : Teaching experience in any other post like the post of General Duty Medical Officer/Medical Officer shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to the teaching posts.  NOTE  :  III :   In the case of qualification in Super-Specialties (M.Ch / D.M) except in the case of holders of D.M./M.Ch of five years duration, the holders should have obtained M.D.(General Medicine) or M.S.(General Surgery) or an equivalent qualification as prescribed by the said council in its recommendations on post- graduate medical examination. NOTE : IV :   In the case of holder of D.M./M.Ch qualification of five years duration, the period of Senior Post - graduate residency rendered in the last part of the said D.M./M.Ch shall be counted towards requirement of experience.  NOTE  :  V : In so far as post graduate  medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time  DUTIES :  To impart theoretical and practical instructions to Under-graduate/Post-graduate medical students.  To conduct and guide research work in the speciality.  To render patient care in the speciality.   ANY OTHER CONDITIONS :  A) Private practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice.  B) The candidate selected will, if so required, be liable to serve in any Defence Service or post connected with the Defence of India, for a period of not less than four years including the period spent on training, if any.  Provided that :- i) he/she will not be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of ten years from the date of appointment or from the date of joining the service.  ii) he/she will not ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid after attaining the age of 45 years.

The post is reserved for OBC candidates.    QUALIFICATIONS  :  ESSENTIAL : i) Same as in Item No. 10 at EQ(i) above.    ii) Post –graduate degree in the concerned speciality i.e. M.D.(Obst. & Gynae), MS(Obst & Gynae), MD(Mid & Gynae), MS(Mid & Gynae), MO, MRCOG, Speciality Board of Obst. & Gynaecology(USA) or equivalent.  B.  EXPERIENCE  :  At least three years’ teaching experience in the concerned Speciality in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution as Lecturer/Tutor/Demonstrator/Registrar/Sr. Resident after the requisite Post graduate degree qualification. Locomotor disability or cerebral palsy.    QUALIFICATIONS:  ESSENTIAL  : A EDUCATIONAL : Degree in Glass/Ceramics Technology from a recognised University/Institute or equivalent.  B. EXPERIENCE :  Two years’ experience in supervisory capacity in a technical/industrial unit in the manufacture of glass, glassware and scientific apparatus, table blown ware and allied articles or experience in promotion of small scale industries in areas of entrepreneurship development and quality control.    DESIRABLE :  i) Familiarity with the latest techniques of production and use of modern machines, equipment, processes and tools as used in the glass and ceramics engineering industry. ii) Basic knowledge of computers particularly application side of currently used software/packages for officers.  DUTIES :  To advise the Industry on various promotional aspects i.e, providing project profiles for setting up of small scale units for manufacture of Glass & Ceramics products.  To conduct training for Entrepreneurship Development & advising the industry on quality standards.  Implementation of policies and schemes in regard to development of small scale sector.

EDUCATIONAL :  Degree in Textile Manufacture/Textile Technology/Textile Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent.  B. EXPERIENCE :    About  10 years’ experience of management and manning of large Textile Mills, of which 5 years should be in the spinning or weaving Department. OR   About 5 years’ experience of  management and manning of large Textile Mills in spinning or weaving  department,  and    five years’ service in the Central or State or Semi government organization with duties relating to development of Textile Industry OR  Five years’ service in a recognized Technical Institution(under a University) connected with Textile Technology.  DESIRABLE :  i) Experience in more than one production centre of textiles.  Experience in Textile Designing.  iii) Knowledge of wool or art silk industry or handloom industry.  iv) Knowledge of organizing co-operatives.  DUTIES :  To promote/facilitate for technology up-gradation and development of all sectors of Textile Industry.  Associate in project preparation, appraisal and escorting it to the financial institutions.
