The post is reserved for OBC candidates.  QUALIFICATIONS :  ESSENTIAL  : EDUCATIONAL :  i)  Master’s degree in Chemistry from a recognised University or equivalent.  ii) Should have cleared the eligibility test for lecturers conducted by University Grants Commission, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research or similar test accredited by University Grants Commission.  NOTE :  The following are exempted from the requirement of Educational Qualification (ii) above.  (a) The candidates who have passed National Eligibility Test Examination conducted by the University Grants Commission/Council for Scientific and Industrial Research for Junior Research Fellowship award.  (b)  The candidates who have been awarded Ph.D or passed the M. EDUCATIONAL  :  Master degree in Bacteriology or Biochemistry or Microbiology of a recognised University or equivalent.  B. EXPERIENCE: 5 years experience of research, assay and testing in the field of Bacteriology or Microbiology with publications out of which not less than two years should be in Microbiological assay and testing of drugs.   DUTIES  :  Conducting and supervising testing of drugs which are received as statutory sample or as survey samples by microbiological methods of testing of drugs.  To supervise and take part in the   research work pertaining to quality control of drugs.   HQ :  CDL, Kolkata.

No.F.1/106/2006-R-I)  Two Specialist Grade-II (Junior Scale) in ENT, Health & Family Welfare Department(Health), Govt of Union Territory of Pondicherry.  QUALIFICATIONS :  ESSENTIAL A. EDUCATIONAL   i)    A  recognised medical  qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule  or Part II of the Third Schedule(other than licentiate qualifications) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.  Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956.   ii) Post Graduate degree/diploma in the concerned speciality i.e. M.S(Oto-Rhino-Laryngology), Speciality Board of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology(USA), DLO, DORL or equivalent.   B. EXPERIENCE  :  Three years experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining the Post-graduate degree or five years experience after obtaining the Post –Graduate diploma.     NOTE :I :  The  Medical qualifications  possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the  Medical Council of India.  NOTE :  II : In so far as post graduate medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended  from time to time.  NOTE :  III:   Holders of speciality Board of USA qualifications should complete the entire requirements of the Board concerned.  DESIRABLE :  Knowledge of local language/dialects prevalent in the area i.e. Tamil, Malayalam or Telugu will be an advantage to the candidates applying for the post.   DUTIES :  In charge of independent  unit in the concerned speciality,  OPD  and ward duties in the hospital.  Supervision of work of  Medical Officers attached  to the unit and conducting operations whenever necessary.  HQ :  Pondicherry, Karaikal, Mahe or Yanam, Pondicherry and Karaikal surrounded by Tamilnadu, Mahe surrounded by Kerala, Yanam surrounded by Andhra Pradesh.

No.F.1/334/2005-R-I/SPC) Twelve(12) Medical officers (Ayurveda), Directorate of  Indian System of Medicine & Homeopathy,  Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of NCT of Delhi.  Of the twelve posts, two posts are reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates, one post is reserved for  Scheduled Tribes,  four  posts are reserved for Other Backward Classes Candidates and remaining five posts are  unreserved.  Of the twelve posts one post is reserved for Physically Handicapped persons among  OL/OA. IMPORTANT: A Written Objective Type Test will be conducted which will be followed by Interview for selection of the candidates to the above posts.     This issue of Employment News carries two application forms/format –one for Special Advt. No.53/06 and other for Advt.No.11/06.  Applicants for the post of Medical Officers(Ayurveda) must use only the format prescribed for Special Advt. No.53/06. Applications submitted in any other format will not be accepted and are liable to be rejected   SCHEME AND SYLLABUS FOR TEST:     The test will be of two hours duration and will carry a maximum of 100 marks.       The test will be of objective type questions with multiple choice answers.    The syllabus of the Test will broadly comprise the following topics- Maulick Sidhanta, Padartha Vigyan, Astanga Sangraha, Rachna Sharira, Kriya Sharira, Rasa Shastra avam Bheshajya Kalpana, Dravyaguna vigyan, Agad tantra, Vyavhar Ayurveda avam Vidhi Vaidyaka, Rog Vigyan avam Vikriti Vigyanam, Charaka Samhita, Wsastha Vritta, Kaya Chilitsa, Shalyga Tantra, Shalakya Tantra, Prasuti Tantra and Strioga, Kaumara Bhritya which are normally included in the B.A.M.S.(AYURVEDA) programme of the Indian universities. The medium of the  question paper will be both in English and Hindi.  The number of candidates called  for interview will be a multiple of the vacancies reserved  in each category viz. SC/ST/OBC/ General (UR)/PH , as decided by the Commission.  Respective weightage of  the written test and the interview shall be as decided by the Commission.   A duly signed passport size photograph of the candidates is required to be affixed  on the application format on the space provided for it.  Candidates are required to send only one application in the prescribed format  for the test.  Applications without fee or photograph or wherein essential qualifications, choice of centre are not filled or which are in wrong format or wherein declaration is not signed by the candidates, will be rejected.  Similarly, applications received late and received from over aged candidates will also be rejected.    Two self addressed envelopes (28 cms X 12 cms) are to be enclosed along with the applications.  No other documents are to be sent.     Applicants are required to indicate only one centre of their choice in the application in Col. 12(A) & 12( B).   Change of Centre will not be permitted to any candidate in any circumstances.   Candidates are cautioned that if any one appears at the centre not allotted to him/her by the commission, his/her answer sheets will not be evaluated.     The recruitment test may be held at all or any of the following Centres on 17th Dec 2006 :-(For filling up column 12(A) & 12(B)  of application format)
