           As regards paragraph viii, it may be mentioned that Departmental Promotion Committee Meetings are convened for Group “A” (in respect of some of the Ex-cadre posts), Group “B”, Group “C” & Group “D” posts in the office of UPSC.  The composition of these DPCs has been classified into four different categories as follows: -
