Para4(b)(v)  

            The Administration Branch deals with all Establishment & Personnel matters which inter-alia includes Recruitment/Appointments/Promotions/Pay/Leave and framing of RRs of posts on the establishment of UPSC and all matters relating to service conditions of Hon’ble Chairman & Members of UPSC.  

Para 4(b)(vi)  

            The sections of Administration branch keep service books & personal files etc. of the officers/staff under their respective administrative control.  In addition to this the files dealing with recruitment/appointment, promotions and other allied service matters are also maintained by the sections(s).
