General Branch is a service branch which helps the Commission in discharge of its constitutional responsibilities by way of providing infrastructure facilities for the Commission, procurement of Examination material and other related items for the smooth conduct of examination, arrangements for the various examinations conducted by the Commission, running and maintenance of the Advisor Suite for providing accommodation to the Advisors/Experts coming to the Commission and making necessary arrangements for various meeting being conducted in the Examination. Upkeep and maintenance of the UPSC Complex.
