PRESS NOTE

            On the basis of results of the written part of the  Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2008 held by the  Union Public Service Commission from 22nd November to 25th November, 2008, the candidates with the under mentioned Roll Numbers have qualified for interview/Personality Test. 

2.         The candidature of these candidates is provisional.  In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all these candidates have to fill up the  Detailed Application Form, (DAF) which will be supplied to them by the Commission before being called for Interview/Personality Test.  In case any candidate does not receive a communication in this regard from the Commission by 29^th May, 2009, he/she should immediately contact the Commission in the matter on Telephone No. 011-23098543, 23385271, 23387402 or on FAX No. 011-23387310, giving his/her particulars ( i.e. full name, Roll Number and date of birth, address etc.).    The candidate may also contact in person at the facilitation counter at Gate "C" of the Commission's Office.

3.   The mark-sheets of candidates who have not qualified, shall be available on the Commission’s Website within one month from the publication of the results and would be available on Web-site for a period of 60 days. 

4.   The candidates will have access to the marks-sheets only after keying in the Roll Numbers and date of birth.  The printed/hard copies of the mark-sheet would however, be issued by UPSC  to candidates on specific requests received from individuals accompanied by a self addressed  stamped envelope.  The candidates desirous of obtaining the printed/hard copies of the mark-sheets should make request within thirty days of the display of the marks on the Commission’s Website beyond which no such requests would be entertained.
